In the spirit of giving and for those who are less fortunate than many of us are, in 2020 the CHP-Yoga community raised over $400 for the Global Vision Citadelle Ministries ( www.gvcm.org), which has directed its focus to one town of Mirebalais, about 35 miles northeast of Haiti’s capital, Port-au-Prince. Mirebalais is home to about 200,000 people. Global Vision Citadelle Ministries built and operates a school, orphanage, medical facility, church and a 40-acre farm. Additionally, the charity assists schools and churches (and digs wells for fresh water) in a number of the outlying, remote areas around Mirebalais.
Wells of Life a non-profit Christian organization whose mission is to provide rural Ugandans access to safe, clean water through the installation or restoration of sustainable borehole water wells and WASH (water, sanitation, and hygiene) educational programs. In 2021 the CPH-Yoga community raised over $500 for the charity.
